”It’s learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.”
For those of you who didn’t catch this late last night, here is my completely professional and serious review of Les Miserables where I only focus on the serious things, like the plot, the filming, the casting, the vocals, and I definitely don’t objectify dead french revolutionaries.
I’m sad, I just read that. I’m still praying for Drew Roy, though
It’s weird. They’re just taking so long. Like, if they really had narrowed it down to four guys, they would have picked someone already. I really don’t even know what the hell they’re doing with this casting.
And this is why I only care about the books…
As far as Myra Calder knows, the monsters in her closet were just sweaters or misleading shadows. But that’s about to change…
Stellan Marius is a Nocturne, beings who stalk the night, erasing memories of supernatural sightings from human minds to maintain balance and order, and when he meets Myra, he knows she’s onto him. She becomes his next client, but when he reaches her to wipe her memories clean, he realizes someone has gotten here before him. Nightmares, vicious creatures who feed off humans while they sleep, have attacked Myra and have left her near death. In an effort to save her, he turns her, making her a fresh Nocturne.
At first furious about losing her humanity, Myra resents Stellan, but finds comfort among his clan of Nocturnes including his brother Nikolai and sister Cora. Despite the unfortunate situation, Myra learns to embrace her new identity and lifestyle. When the Nocturnes find out of the Nightmare’s plans to create an army of blood thirsty warriors to reveal the secrets of the supernatural world to humans, they gear for a war to protect their world and their loved ones. While Myra comes to grips with her new abilities, new identity, and new family, she has to ask herself the biggest question of all: what happens when you fall in love with the monster in the closet?
Coming soon ;)
What do you guys think of this?
Let me know in my ask :D
“Alec could only stare. Everything about the man was familiar- the lean curve of his back, the wild tangle of his dark hair, and the way that blue fire sprang from his fingertips like darting cyanotic fireflies.
he seems like kind of a jerk, although that’s purely conjecture, and he’s already in two other franchise films. so no. I’m hoping they pick someone else.
I don’t know if I think he’s as much of a jerk as he is kind of a tool. He strikes me as a ‘Jersey Shore’ type dude, and this is coming from someone who is from New Jersey lol
I thought he was really impressive in THG, but just because he’s a decent actor doesn’t mean he’s right for Four because he absolutely isn’t. Because to me, Four has a very modest sense of bravery and strength, while Alexander strikes me as more of a “HEAR ME ROAR” kinda guy.
